I'm slightly more with the progressive activists on this one, you can buy a decent sized mansion on the beach in Costa Rica for cheap
Someone pointed out to me the pride in America number for Hispanics is quite high. Another survey I used for my Persuasion piece found for Muslims it was even higher. Of course recent immigrants are proudest to be Americans, it wasn't given to them they had to work for it.
