This is a thread I've been considering making for a bit, but after recent news, I've gained a boost of motivation to make it:

Here's some reasons why I believe Bandana Dee is autistic!
1 - In one of the cutscenes in Kirby)# Return to Dream Land, Bandee is seen flapping his hands before falling over after Magolor's betrayal, likely to cope with stress. In promotional material for Kirby Fighters 2, he does this both with excitement and with fear.
Hand flapping is a common form of stimming; a method autistic people use to manage emotions like excitement and stress. Stimming can come in all forms, but hand flapping is one of the most common, and Bandee displays it consistently.
2 - While a reason is never given for Bandee's attachment to his bandana, the fact that he goes as far as to name himself after it implies he is very close with it and potentially sees it as a comfort object.
3 - Bandee is shown to get attached to people as well. In Revenge of the King, he is extremely dedicated to King Dedede, and Kirby's presence in Kirby Battle Royale gives him a major confidence boost. A lot of this is explained in the-
-official Kirby novels by Mie Takase (read them please). While they are not canon, they can be seen to go more in-depth to characters' personalities, and it is where these aspects of his personality truly shine.
May add more later, but these are my reasons for now!
