For whoever needs to hear this: The skills you learn by doing 1:1 services are completely different than the skills you need to deliver products/services at scale. Many want to make the pivot from 1:1 to 1:many without having spent any time creating value at scale (via content)
I see service providers trying to shift to offering products (courses, etc) but they haven't been flexing their content muscles: blog posts, videos, webinars, etc. Now you're dealing with *volume* which usually means you've been sharing your work/ideas/content at scale.
There is no shortcut to creating community around your ideas. You simply need to ship a ton of value in a way that is easy consumed and sharable. Ask yourself, how are you creating resonance at scale?
Don't beat yourself up if you're trying to make the switch from service to products and its going slower than you thought. Creating authority via content takes time. I'm not sure there's another way to get those sales without paying those dues...
I just recently finished @AliAbdaal's (epic) Youtube course and he was sharing how one student complained they didn't get what they wanted: a "formula for hitting 100k". He literally DID gave the formula: 1. Create value 2. consistently 3. for 2 yrs. That's literally the formula.
BTW Ali's course is ridiculously valuable, and I was honestly completely blown away that anyone could take that course and not think anything other than, holy shit i literally have EVERYTHING I NEED TO SUCCEED.
I'm guessing that person was looking for a magical shortcut that didn't involve "shipping valuable content" over and over and over again.
You just have to do the work. Again. and again. and again.
