The next pertinent question that needs to be asked is who do they want to see him replaced with. https://twitter.com/khaledabutoameh/status/1339322591346036741
“Most of the respondents believe that the renewal of the PA's security coordination with Israel will lead to an increase in Israel's normalization with Arab countries and the expansion of the settlements.” https://twitter.com/yonibmen/status/1339397626224123905?s=21
And here is a thread from the survey with even further details. You can use the translate function if you don’t read Hebrew as it’s fairly accurate in this case. https://twitter.com/galberger/status/1338856902587891714
I’ll add that the results aren’t much different than the poll taken last year on seemingly the same topics. Essentially Haniyeh (Hamas) would have beat out Abbas (Fatah) if elections were held today, unless Marwan Barghouti is allowed to run. https://twitter.com/immort4l_legacy/status/1187433832418545665
Also worth noting that around 60% believe a 2 state is impossible due to settlements. Which I know that for some reason this is somehow viewed as reasonable justification by some (not always for bad intentions), however, at face value this is incorrect and frankly bigoted view.
It’s essentially saying “there’s too many Jews living here now so a two state can’t happen now.” Imagine if the reverse argument was said regarding Israel and the Arab/Palestinian population. A two state can work, even with a few hundred thousand Jews living J&S/WB.
