I’m feeling really cross this evening. We wouldn’t need to be mucking about with thresholds & AI systems & getting into unseemly squabbles about the reliability of PCR mass testing if we didn’t do it at all.

We also knew very early that the rubbish about “asymptomatic transmission” was inherently wrong, as I’ve patiently explained numerous times. I hope in coming days you’ll see an article from Drs Clare Craig & Jonathan Engler who have reviewed the “evidence” for the phenomenon.
It’s woeful. Now, without having to trouble ourselves with this ridiculous notion, which runs counter to all prior experience with respiratory viruses, as well as the finely honed sensing by humans of illness & threat in others, which isn’t there by luck but because it’s useful..
