3/ I understand mistrust in our government, medical, and science institutions due to the way they’ve treated the Trump administration and his supporters throughout this pandemic. I really do get this. I’ve never been more disillusioned.
4/ There are also other reasons to distrust those same institutions but that is beyond the scope of this thread. However, I do not believe that there is a conspiracy to harm millions of people by distributing a vaccine that is unsafe. What incentive would they have?
5/ Further, why would pharmaceutical companies knowingly distribute a vaccine that was unsafe to Americans and people in other countries unless they wanted to ruin their reputation and sink their company? That’s absurd.
6/ I’m extremely annoyed seeing people especially physicians, spreading the idea that there is not enough safety information available and that people will be guinea pigs getting the first round. Around 60K people participated in the efficacy and safety trials of both Pfizer and
7/ Moderna vaccines. If anyone was a guinea pig, it was them. An they will be followed for 2 years. Thank them.
8/ I also get that people don’t want any kind of vaccine. No one has ever given me a reason that is makes sense or has any credibility but I’m not addressing that in this thread.
I do agree that outside of the public school system there should be no mandate for vaccination.

9/ Finally, no person who believes in small gov’t should be saying that we skipped safety steps. We didn’t. We just removed the red tape that normally makes the process last for months to yrs longer. This is proof that what we’ve been fighting for works.
