How is it that "actually it's fine if you drive" doesn't *directly translate* to "it's fine for these oil- and gas-producing corporations to continue to produce oil and gas"?
Let's not let the fact that this show is sponsored by a truck company go unnoticed. The whole "individuals aren't responsible for climate change so it's fine if you drive" narrative is REALLY GOOD for GMC's shareholders.
the other thing to remember is that one of the biggest (if not #1?) contributors of this %, is state-owned china coal, who's partly using coal power to like...give rural chinese people air conditioning and reliable heat in winter for the first time ever. rapidly.
last thing ill say is sunrise is great on a lot of things; pretty bad on others. this is one of the bad things.
