I do not listen to or even really like Taylor Swift songs. When I see people enjoying Taylor Swift songs, I smile because I'm happy my friends are happy. I then post about other things entirely, and do not reply to my friends' Taylor Swift tweets.
I mention this because a lot of people on Twitter seem not to know this is an option, but it definitely is!
I think there has been some blurred distinction between "Thing X contains bigotry and I should warn people so they aren't harmed" versus "Thing X doesn't spark joy for me and I need to share that every time Thing X is mentioned."
Like, I've seen that "Let People Enjoy Things" comic utterly misused by being posted in threads that were warning about bigotry in something. Those threads aren't harshing your buzz; they're warning signs to keep people safe. (You don't have to read them! You can drive on.)
But there's a big difference between:

1. Posting about Thing X to warn people re: harm in it.
2. Replying to people who are enjoying Thing Y to inform them that you don't share their enjoyment.

Those things are not the same things.
It's the difference between warning everyone at the restaurant that there's rat poison in the food vs. standing at someone's elbow and giving them your in-depth opinion on their choice of salad dressing.
