I know a lot of people who follow me have started to build side projects.

Here are 5 quick tips for you to save money on your side projects. Building doesn't have to cost a ton 👇
1/ Domain

Don't use GoDaddy - poor service and overpriced.

Try @Namecheap instead. Affordably priced, awesome customer service (real agents that respond almost instantly) and include free WHOIS protection.

I prefer .com, .co or .io domains
2/ Landing Page

There are very affordable options with no-code. My personal favorite is @carrd for a single-page layout, but you can also use @dorik_io, @webflow, @unicornplatform & more.

Here's my Carrd refferal link:

3/ Got a custom domain, and want to get a professional email?

Use @ImprovMx to get & send [email protected] emails in your Gmail, for free.

You don't have to pay for G Suite. Check out this thread for how. https://twitter.com/chris__alarcon/status/1283102457925697546
4/ Look for discounts & perks by scouring deal sites.

I signed up for Secret to get access to Notion, Airtable and Bubble, AWS & Stripe credits

There are a ton more deals that they offer. If you want 20% off, you can use my aff code JANEL. http://JoinSecret.com
5/ Logos / illustrations

Tons of free options. Check out http://tablericons.com , http://freeillustrations.xyz , http://icons8.com

I personally subscribed to @flaticon pro, but you can get plenty of wonderful resources in the sites above.

Use @figmadesign to create graphics
