Things ECSU should do/invest in with that $15mil...a thread:
1. The Marching Sound Of Class
For the band to be used for every single event on campus, AND be the largest student organization on camp and only getting larger and better, they need it. Nah, they DESERVE [a portion of] IT.

2. 24hr access to the Fine Arts Building
The music and graphic design departments are both housed in this building. However, the labs close too early, as well as the building it self. A card swipe system costs money, and not money the dept should put up.

3. Renovating Roebuck & the facilities with it
The wellness center got some VERY MUCH needed attention this past year, can Roebuck get the same? Bathrooms, Ticket Booth, Field House, Stands, and Track all need help.

4. More Dorms
The school has headed in the right direction with this the past year as well, but the school is growing faster than Chris Brown died in Stomp The Yard (s/o @TSH678), so the 1.5 dorms they've worked on won't be enough in the next 5 years.

5. Land in the city
This might be the BIGGEST one on the thread. Wanna be like NCCU and NCAT so bad? Invest in the land around the city like them. Build up apartment buildings for students in the city since most don't rent to students anyway. An E-Z flip for profit too.

6. The Radio Station
In speaking with @Jcool972 and other on-air personalities, the radio station needs a complete overhaul. From being in there a few times, you can tell a lot of the equipment is very dated. Rebranding doesn't solve these issues, fixing them does.

7. Add a restaurant on campus
I appreciate the cafe and the grille, I really do....HOWEVER there's no variety if its the same thing, yknow? Let us get a Subway, Starbucks, etc etc. It just makes sense at this point. Leading into the next point...

8. Convert to Viking Food/FLEX Points
Flex Points give students about $2K to spend in the city, kinda like a stipend. Businesses earn commission off of it. It's literally a win win. Learned this from working at a store near Duke, and it's SO COOL.

This thread isn't meant to come off as complaints, but a young alumni wanting to see his alma mater be at it's greatest potential.

9. The ECSU Choir
Another student organization that DESERVES to see something from this. Their Spring Tour alone brings a lot of students to the school. Fall for band is what Spring is like for choir, and they need money to do all the school wants from them.

10. Athletics teams
More money means you can field more teams, which includes baseball, wrestling, soccer, LAX, track/field, etc. Also build a new softball stadium. They were on a come up and the stadium just went away???

11. Parking on campus.
There's TOO MANY buildings and students for there to be nowhere to park. I still don't understand why we sacrificed a parking lot to turn into a green space. The campus is almost not vehicle friendly atp. That's really all there is to say about that.

12. Cheer Uniforms
You know the D'Lytes be out here just as much as the band?? They need uniforms and money to clean them. If we can have alternate uniforms/fits as the band, the D'Lytes should have that same option. Also to try out more people.
