Someone is going to make a lot of money gamifying the entire career experience in-house at large companies for Gen Z. It won't be anyone from the traditional HR space they are not very imaginative (or metrics-driven) for the most part.
Someone brought up badges. Boring. We had those at Google they are "fun" but don't mean anything for your career. Promotions right now at big companies are supposedly metrics-driven but they're still very political. What if they were because you reached a high score instead?
Could be mix of passive metrics/achievements +active ones like mgr input & project completion or sales or whatnot. Dashboards +transparency. Pt being many rank & file have no idea where they stand at big companies. You can get great ratings & still not be promoted. Worth fixing.
