1. Thx to @AymanM- who aired the rest of @AOC int where she expresses the common sentiment that both chambers need new leadership & says (paraphrased):

people say, "why don't you do it?" but I can't, there's no way I'm ready

That sure doesn't fit w the parody of her

2. As @GarrettHaake noted- the D House Caucus has been a talent vortex. People flee it bc their is no incentive to stay. There is a lot of pressure on Pelosi to step aside but at the same time, no real "me instead" candidate, which I'm surprised about bc also as Hague reminds us

3. you can't beat somebody w nobody." So there has to be someone making a case. When/if this person emerges, god willing they realize that the power of the House Speakership is agenda setting control, narrative setting control & it is LEGION. It is also the power Pelosi ignores.
