Incoming thread on my perspective of the female role in male mental health:

I find a growing concern of mine is a lack support from women in the lives of men, like their wives, sisters, and mothers.
We could prevent a lot of male suicide and harmful mindsets just by being good mothers and partners to men.

I feel there is a growing disconnect and increase in neglect among men when it comes to female and male support systems.
Most men I speak to who tell me they suffer depression will cite experiences with a neglectful mother, or an abusive partner.

I feel like society often focuses on what men can do to accommodate women, and we should be focusing on what we can all do to uplift one another
Reach out to the men in your life today and check on them. Be supportive.

We need to discard the idea that men need to be more feminine, and instead meet them with our feminine support. Be the mother, sister, or wife they need.
