1. Kept seeing @threadapalooza popping up on my feed, so I clicked on it a couple hours ago, & now I feel inspired to do a 100 tweet thread on the state of education in Singapore.

Have many thoughts about it, but I’ll try to be kind cos ranting might not be the most beneficial.

2. To understand education in Singapore today, we need to look to our colonial past, when we became independent, and then decisions made thereafter.

I’d like to thank the @historyogi for illuminating random historical facts about the country that’s reminded me to do this.
