Here are a few examples of some of the many lovely messages I have received over the past few months on here. I don't know when these accounts started popping up, but I had gotten to the point where I numbed myself to what they were saying and I just can't do that anymore
I feel weird and uncomfortable posting this? I planned on doing a tidy irish exit--but I want to make it clear that this stuff is not ok. and not being able to handle it doesn't make you weak, it simply means that this piece of shit app doesn't care about womens safety.
I carry a lot of privilege as a white cis-hetero woman. I know that. the stuff that I get sent is the tip of the iceberg of what women get constantly sent on here, particularly those who care to have opinions or are BIPOC and/or LGBTQ+ .
if you want to make this a safe community in any way, then REPORT THIS SHIT AND CALL IT OUT PUBLICLY, don't just dm someone to say "wow that sucks". it's sexual harassment, right before your eyes. do something.
