Long winded, but totally worth it. Stick with me here.

#AOC was given committee assignments where she could have made a difference yet she complained about them. Lauren Underwood took her committee assignments that weren’t as high profile and made them work.
Since then Underwood fought tooth and nail for the American people and got the work done. So much so she had authored TWO bills that have signed by the President in 2020.
One that lowers the cost of insulin and another that secured funding for an interoperable electronic health record (EHR) for use across the Department of Homeland Security.
She’s now on the House Committee on Education and Labor, House Committee of Homeland Security, and House Committee on Veteran’s Affairs.
What has AOC done? AOC introduced 0 bills in 2019 or 2020 that got past committee and to the floor for consideration. Of the 350 bills that Ocasio-Cortez cosponsored, 5% were introduced by a legislator who was not a Democrat.
Underwood on the other hand introduced the 11th most bills compared to House Freshmen, got the 16th most cosponsors on their bills compared to House Freshmen, and ranked 22nd most politically left compared to House Freshmen.

We need less AOCs and more Underwoods. Link below:
