"S-Stuttering!" Stuttering can be used to imply nervousness or worry.
"P. . . Pausing." Pausing can be another way to imply nervousness or even excitement. Maybe the word is hard to say.
"Halting-!" This can imply the sentence ends abruptly for some reason.

Also don't forget otomotpia! Some times a "Grrr. . ." Or a "Hmmph!" Can really show emotion when combined with sentences.
