So a lotta people were curious bout who she was after the latest episode of Mahouka so Iām making a thread bout it hope this clears the confusion 
For starters,her nameās Sakurai Minami but we canāt talk about her without mentioning her late aunt which was Sakurai Honami,she was a first generation Sakura Series that was constructed by the Yotsuba clan and she was also Shiba Miyaās (Tatsuya and Miyukiās mom) Guardian
Honamiās a modified magician,whose genetic structure has been altered to strengthen her disposition for magic. During the Okinawa Defense Naval Battle in 2092 she defended Tatsuya from incoming attacks by the Great Asian Union fleet and died from overusing her Magic.
On to Minami,sheās the second generation of the Sakura series and she serves as Miyukiās Guardian.She shares the same genes as Honami and is practically identical to her aunt.She uses Barrier Magic,though its functionality and variability are not on par with Jumonjiās āPhalanxā
She was trained to be a Guardian and a servant/maid since she was young.Sheās dedicated and loyal in her duty as a Guardian for the Yotsuba and is polite to everyone,but itās hard for her to hide her emotions well when she wants to (quite cute tho :3)
