Thread – A Friend Opines on the Election Outcome
1. Regarding the election outcome, I’m an optimistic pessimist, but in the category of long shots, we are in “rare air”— the 2004 Red Sox down 3-0 and 4-1 in game 4 against the hated Yankees in the playoffs.
1. Regarding the election outcome, I’m an optimistic pessimist, but in the category of long shots, we are in “rare air”— the 2004 Red Sox down 3-0 and 4-1 in game 4 against the hated Yankees in the playoffs.
2. Or, the Patriots getting crushed by 25, and Atlanta looking unstoppable in 2017. Or the 1966 Orioles sweeping the Dodgers with Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale in their prime (I would have lost the farm on that one—one of the greatest rotations in baseball history).
3. Or, Greg Norman losing a 6-shot lead at the Masters. Or, Team Oracle’s comeback in the America’s Cup (maybe the greatest comeback ever in sports). This election business this year is right up there.
4. There is nothing worse than being reduced to hope (not a plan or a strategy) and blind faith (that there is some nebulizer-variation or nefarious indisputable evidence). Because none of us truly know what is going on; only the President and his inner circle do.
5. In the Wisconsin court actions, a DJT-appointed judge gave them their due process and invited an evidentiary hearing. Meanwhile, the clock continues to tick. It almost has the feel of going through the motions because that is how the game is played.
6. Until those tedious processes are exhausted, and we can bring out the big guns (which is the hope or faith play – that there really is such a thing there).
7. So a DNI process “indictment” or a congressional ballsy play based on calling out all the anomalies and crying foul could still happen, I suppose. Lin Wood, Sidney Powell, and the President’s legal team still seem confident that the shoe will drop.
8. I have no faith/hope that the few Republican patriotic politicians (e.g., Brooks, Jordan) can coerce the RINOs into anything substantive. RINOs all are in butt-protect mode and never have been protecting Trump. Many have NEVER supported him publicly.
9. We-the-People need excise all the career politicians; they are the cancer killing America second only to the Marxists in our K-12 public education system, colleges, and universities.
10. It truly is binary: either Trump has got something on the massive election fraud, or he doesn't. If he doesn't, I can't explain that he continues to exude confidence in every public appearance because the Left will hound him & his fam into the ground if Biden is inaugurated.
11. The man has accrued some of the greatest building and golf complexes by “bluffing” to an extent —the story about how he somewhat “brow beat” the locals at Mara Lago or outmaneuvered Nadler and all the NYC scumbags trying to fight him are great exemplars.
12. For anybody who has forgotten, NY Mayor Ed Koch let DJT attempt to fix the Rockefeller Center Ice Complex to shut him up. DJT showed up with like 50 cement trucks, a dozen plumbers, 20 engineers and had it completed within about 4 days and under budget!
13. And he looked awfully confident from day one about the “no-there, there” with adamant and consistent denials—and righteous indignation!—about the ridiculous Pee-Pee hoax.
14. Even his most ardent supporters had to believe there was “something there’—even a morsel or a crumb. Many said that there is no way that the FBI and IC would have investigated unless he had done what he was alleged to have done.
15. That DJT simply HAD to come out and fess up. That, wow, this crow tastes terrible, this is unbelievable-unlawful-puzzling-undermining. That Hussein Obama had to know it was “true” because he initiated a counter-intel investigation against an opposition candidate.
16. But that “logic” got turned completely inside-out, didn’t it? The people eating crow were those who lied about it all along after Mueller and his Democrat hack lawyers came up dry. And yet they’ve not been held accountable for their lies (yet).
17. President Trump is a guy who likes to get the advantage and leverage early on through foresight and sober thinking.
18. He talks about thin ice when everybody else is lacing up their skates mindlessly desperate to prove him wrong. Desperation makes people do reckless, border-line and cross-line illegal, unethical and immoral acts. We are seeing more evidence of that with every passing day.
19. So this is final table staring ‘em in the eye. Trump’s enemies are all-in at this point. Only a fool would be sitting there with pocket deuces, and Donald Trump is definitely is not a fool. ///The end.
