The school board has been more focused on renaming schools than on ensuring it is funded.

Additionally, they took the only high school with merit-based admissions and made it a lottery.
My mom went to Lowell in the 60s when they had fast-track honors programs on top of the regular one.

I wish that instead of ripping down our top school, we built more merit-based schools.
