other professionals. I came into this field because I felt like everyone here was united in a common cause and work to do good in the world, but I am realizing that not everyone is like this. 2/
Many of us young professionals look up to you seasoned professionals for help, guidance, and mentoring. Can you imagine how heartbreaking it is for us youngbloods to learn about the poor behavior of some of you seasoned professionals? It is wild seeing all of this. 3/
The genealogy community has been fighting to be recognized for their work and professionalism in academia. So, why would you jeopardize that by playing dirty on the inside? 4/
You projecting your insecurities onto everyone else makes you look ugly and it validates the negative view others have of genealogists. 5/
Please, stop. For the future of this industry and for the hope of the rising generation, stop being jerks. This isn't high school anymore. Do better and be better. 6/
