It’s come to my attention that some folks on here are SHOCKED & CLUTCHING THEIR PEARLS because Jen O’Malley Dillon said Republicans are “fuckers” but that bi-partisan deals are possible. I guess these people have never met, for instance, Chuck Schumer. (1 of who knows)
At this point, the cornucopia of reasons Dems think Repubs are fuckers is so abundant! Let’s just name the unwillingness to acknowledge Biden’s win & the shocking mismanagement of government during a pandemic & fiscal crisis as top hits. (2)
But let’s be real honest. The prospect of a younger woman, unapologetic in her opinions and her confidence, calling it like it is, is not how some people think it’s supposed to be done in This Town. Well, brother & sisters, get used it.
Let me add: if on 12/16 of the year of our lord Dolly Parton 2020, w/ 300k Americans dead, millions unemployed, women falling out of the workforce like an avalanche, you think the problem is Jen O’Malley Dillon swearing, you are really, seriously, out of touch with reality.
Another example of a brilliant political leader w/occasionally salty language & a way with Republicans that yielded real value is LYNDON JOHNSON. I can’t quite put my finger on how they’re different tho.
And finally, but maybe not, because I am pissed & this is RIDICULOUS, if you pile on a mom who just helped save the republic with three kids at home, and on @GlennonDoyle, you may come to think that was a strategic error, assholes. See what I did there?
