Scientists muzzled and threatened with being fired if they told the truth when it conflicted with White House messaging. Information and expert warnings being edited or vetoed by fucking KellyAnne Conway, Ivanka Trump and other such administration public health sages. 2/3
Budget squeezed and diverted to useless administration pet projects. A once proud, effective and crucial agency demoralized, discredited and sidelined. It will take time to reverse and repair the damage to our nation, to science, to the world. 3/4
There is much that can never be replace or repaired, including the lives lost to this stupidity, greed and malignant narcissism. But we have to start. We have to try. 4/4
