Sodachi and the difficulties of self-love

(THREAD)
The theme of self-love & how an environment shapes a person's life & coping mechanism are both shouldered excellently by Sodach in the sense that Sodachi tries to convince herself that her life isn't as miserable as it may seem by normalizing it for her own convenience, to escape
from this world's pain that would crush her easily because of her fragility & places the blame of her guilt on Araragi because if she doesn't lament Araragi, she will only end up lamenting her existence even more than she does.
She tries her best to overcome her conflicts by shouldering them alone instead of facing them & embracing them, & that leads her into an endless cycle of pain where she constantly takes all the damage that she faces, stores it up, & tries to normalize this damage to help herself
feel less miserable, which only worsens her emptiness.
Even when she tries to normalize her miserable environment, as she sees more of this world, the reality that she's living a miserable life becomes harder to escape, & instead of facing that reality, she chooses to place the blame on what she's been exposed to her aka Araragi.
And the way her arc ends with her widening her worldly awareness & opening up to her conflicts and trying to understand them is very compelling because of how in-line it is with the overarching theme of self-love that's achieved through her sympathizing with Araragi's regrets.
To sum it up, Sodachi seeks fulfilment & yearns for her mother's love. She tries to connect with Araragi so he can help her, yet that never seems to work. She's in a desperate quest to get the love she needs, but never realized that she should love herself first before anyone can
This is basically my second Mono thread so if I fumbled with my wording or/and misinterpreted some things, sorry about that ;(
Oh yeah, once I'm done with Hitagi End & Tsubasa Tiger, maybe even Hitagi's crab arc, I'm gonna make a thread on each of these arcs, so look forward to them ^~^
