Did you notice how growing up alot of cartoons and kids shows/movies had one of the characters have a bad family, were orphans or somehow lost their family?
Then they get a ”new” family of the wierd characters they come across, often abandoning their previous family and ideals.
I think this is very deliberate and subtle conditioning into mainstreaming ideas of breaking family ties, accepting new people and ”new” ideas. New ideas from some other entity (goverment? shady character? blue haired fatty?) and even going as far as idealising it.
These movies on their own might not be the leading cause as to why things are the way they are.
But the overwhelming amount of these ”stories” watched and consumed over the years, will make it into the subconsciousness and affect thoughts and actions.
I think this is also a contributing factor as to why leftist often fall back to movie characters and tropes in their message and demonstrations.
