1. You don’t eat enough.
To build muscle optimally you need to be in a slight calorie surplus.
This means you should aim for 250-500 calories over your maintenance calories.

2. You’re not training hard enough.
You need to push yourself in the gym.
Not to the point of feeling faint or sick…
A few of your sets should arrive at or come close to failure.

3. You don’t get enough sleep.
Our bodies repair and grow during sleep cycles.
You should aim for 7-8 hours per night on average.
Without enough sleep, your progress will be affected along with your ability to recover.

4. You’re not eating enough protein.
Imagine building a house, but you don’t have enough material to build with…
Protein is the building block of muscle tissue.
Ensure you hit around 0.8g-1g/Ib bodyweight.

5. You’re using the same weights.
The body creates muscle tissue, adapting to gradual increments in weight.
Someone with a 300Ib bench press will have significantly more muscle tissue than someone who only does 100Ib.
This is called “progressive overload”

http://6.You aren’t managing stress efficiently.
Everyone has their own battles in their daily lives, we all get stressed from time to time.
BUT
If you’re often stressed, I recommend picking up some healthy coping mechanisms such as meditation to help manage it
