First of all it’s not their business
They’re the two Greatest Nigerian Rappers of their time, they’re grown men, if they wanted to settle their beef, they would have a long time ago.
Coming in between to settle it, was not needed in any way. Atleast Not now.

None of them has had hits in a long time. It’s this war that kept them on our lips in the last two years.
Hennessy can’t say they didn’t think this through.
Aside the effect this move might have on them, the Rap Scene is also affected.

Yes, we’ve had a lot of rappers come out after MI and vector, but none has been able to keep up to par.
The closest were Ice prince, Eva Alordiah, Yung6ix, Eldee, Jesse Jagz and a few others.

But MI and vector had attained this certain level,
..impossible to beat. From talent, to series of hit songs, to awards and recognition all over the country and Africa etc
They’ve been the front liners of the Nigerian Rap scene for a long time.
No be today.

If people don’t talk about them, others don’t get proper attention.
Blaqbonez and AQ get enough attention only when MI’s in the conversation. Same for Vader only when Vector’s in the convo.
(Sentimental, yeah I know, but that’s what happens)

I also said it in my last write up that rappers have lost their clout, many Nigerians don’t vibe to rap songs anymore. Even Rappers are trying new genres so as to stay relevant. https://twitter.com/rereayodele/status/1338408239491411970
Some might chip in Blaqbonez and Vader’s beef. It could do something, but it can’t be the same. It’s not weighty enough.
To me, the story behind it doesn’t even look or sound that serious to be called a Beef. (Listen to Vader’s verse on The Purge, should give you an insight)

A lot of people might not even know AQ and Fresh L (DRB Lasgidi) had a beef going on last year. AQ had to scrap his next album at that time (God’s Engineering) and confirmed his new album title will be (Eunice). He later dropped a track with the same title...
...few days after as a reply to fresh L. All these and it didn’t even catch enough attention.
Another reference is the low awareness of Hennessy’s latest Cyphers featuring MI, Vector, Falz, ,Teeto Cemos, Jesse Jagz, SDC, CDQ, Vader, Barrylane, Payper, and Phlow.

They released 3 cyphers 7 days ago on YouTube and none is doing reasonable numbers compared to when ‘The purge’, ‘The viper’ & ‘Judas the Rat’ dropped.
If M & Vec ain’t beefing, Nigerians don’t seem interested.

Hennessy is a great brand. One of the best Liquors in the world.
I’m certain they would’ve envisaged all these and I believe they have solid plans for our GOATs and not just milk out the attention from them for their own selfish interests.
