People who rely entirely on results to make decisions for future outcomes are so negative EV.

Tough to break the process of using results to justify something, but once you do the entire picture becomes pretty clear.

Pretty clearly the reason slot machines are a thing in 2020
I get the entertainment aspects of slot machines, and casinos for that matter but sheesh. Imagine if someone told you every time you spin lever to place a $2 bet, you are paying the casino $.08.
Oh man, now just imagine if someone hits “the big one”, or even a decent payday. Now we have a customer for life, donating and donating.
Find it hard to believe less people don’t just play human vs human games (Poker/Fantasy Sports, etc). In poker you are already better than more than half the people in the low stakes poker room if you study a preflop range chart for a few hours and understand position.
Sports betting seems to be the tricky one for EV situations. Currently, I think it’s probably the best time to bet on sports as a casual player. “Bad beat” payments like in yesterday’s football game and other promotional values create a possible profitable avid sports bettor.
Long story short, don’t base your life off results. Also, don’t spin a slot machine at the casino. Load up the latest sportsbook App, collect that deposit bonus and smash that shit on the Vikings to win Sunday #SKOL
