Parents and young of many species including humans form an attachment bond to facilitate caretaking. They might also consider how, if attachment is evolved, not learned, a politicised effort to abolish it will produce not flourishing in freedom but broken, unhappy children & adults acting out in chaos. That looks like freedom for predators and misery for everyone else. No thanks
