i’m simply waiting for when i can be present for a discussion about how negatively plus sized people are treated in theatre

i have many thoughts

simply thinking about things like how every time i say things like “ooh i would like to play *insert basic male ingénue character*”
someone always counters with “oh haha but you would totally fit *insert plus sized sidekick character from the same show*”

there are so many more negative things that come up but it do be bothering me tonight and i hope one day everyone will be allowed to do theatre no matter what body you have
