don’t forget to praise your subjects on their hypnotic capabilities, and reinforce that they are a good hypnotic subject. it truly makes such a difference, and over time helps them embrace that identity 🌀😀
if a suggestion doesn’t go as planned, getting frustrated with your subject while they’re highly suggestible benefits neither of you.. if this pattern continues you set the expectation that in the future it’s not going to work, and potentially the idea that they’re a bad subject
basically like a self-fulfilling prophecy

I understand that when things don’t go as planned it can be surprising, and can leave you wondering what to do next as the hypnotist— the best advice I can give is to adapt and be flexible!
take in whatever it is your subject *is* experiencing and play on that..

you wanted their arms bound but they’re moving them slowly—have you noticed how heavy your arms are? So hard to move them.. that’s right
you wanted them to only be able to say “i obey” when woken up— you may be able to say other things but have you noticed how *wrong* they feel on your tongue? How the more you say I obey, the more you can only find yourself wanting to repeat because it just feels *so* right?
