Today is a great day to celebrate your achievements: a thread.

I’m sad every time I congratulate someone for their work/progress/generally kicking ass/achievements lately the response is..

‘Awh thanks but wish I was doing better’

They’re devastated when they should be elated.
Over the last 5 years I have offered advice to girls who were unable to break into the top 1000 on MFC, now they’re making $5000 on a bad month, $20k+ during a rank month but it’s not enough.
I have offered OnlyFans advice for free to performers that I paid for simply because I wanted to see them succeed and don’t have the heart to charge.

I come back & see them in the.. TOP 1%.. 🤯

But it’s not good enough.
I know performers who are literally at the top of the game.

Top 0.1% income earners in adult entertainment worldwide.

They’re KILLING IT but they’re still so riddled with both internal & external pressures & self esteem issues that they can’t see it.
God I get it. I SO GET IT.

Fellow performers I HAVE BEEN THERE.
I know what it’s like to lose sleep over this & get caught up in being the ‘best’, striving for more, one eye on the person who is 1 rank above you & 1 eye on the person 1 rank below you.

Obsessing over cam score, payouts, goals, rankings. The works.
I’m lucky that I was able to recognise this destructive, soul destroying, career dampening, joy stealing, insecurity/issue quite quickly & I’ve worked hard to reevaluate my mindset.
Performers please revaluate your ‘success’ markers.

You know what I’m talking about.. The goals you have in your mind that you think you will finally be successful/content once you’ve achieved.

I guarantee you these markers NEVER. STOP. MOVING.
Now it is 100% okay to want to do well at your job, to take pride in what you do.

It’s okay to go for rank or want a certain % on a website.

What’s not okay is stealing your own sense of accomplishment, not celebrating your achievements & REALLY believing them.
Please don’t allow yourself to be numbed by the highs.

What I mean is when it’s good, it’s great. You may have spent an hour online & made $1000 one night.

Then you get on the next night & you make $20 & feel like a failure, quickly forgetting the previous night.
1 crap night, or a crap month on your website, or a shitty payout doesn’t minimise the achievements you’ve already made so we need to learn to not internalise this as a fault with yourself or alternatively someone else’s success as them having something we lack.
99% of the time you are not lacking, it’s nothing about you.

Someone else may have a supporter who got a bonus at work so now they’re ranking well.

Or just like a normal business you could just be having a quieter month, maybe a supporter is saving for a surprise.
Anyway I’m ranting.

All this to say is performers PLEASE take stock & realise how lucky you are before your self doubt & lack of celebrating your achievements drives people away from wanting to support you.

I’m happier now & making less than ever.. & I’m still successful.
