I chased $MARA at her Summer highs with zero knowledge of the trading world. I kept refreshing Twitter for validation as the price started falling. Everyone who was raving about $MARA going “off to the moon” 
and saying “buy buy buy” had suddenly gone quiet.

Cue *immense* anxiety and dread. As the price started falling, I continued throwing money at the trade to average down (yikes!). Wallowing in total misery, and losing more money daily, I remembered my old friend Sean had trading experience & I reached out to him for advice.
Amongst other nuggets of wisdom, he advised I cut my losses. Now, I’m a little stubborn... so I waited until I was $3.5k in the hole to do so, but when I finally cut the cord - I was surprised by how GOOD it felt. This was the “pivot” in my trading experience, so to speak.
Relinquishing the weight of the negative energy, I now had the mental bandwidth to redirect my focus to learning and growing as a trader. Stumbled onto @RadioSilentplay, embraced low risk / high reward trades, and the rest is history.
I have two accounts now, which have both grown significantly. Icing on the comeback cake - I added $MARA back near floor levels, and have been locking profits throughout this journey of new ATHs ($2 average waaaazzzup)
Could I have held out through the red and seen profit at this stage? Sure - but I needed to free up the mental space to grow as a trader. And that required cutting losses, a clean slate. Mindset is everything - and I was operating at a fear of loss.
So, all this to say. For anyone starting out, trying to rebound, or resonating w/ my initial sense of dread... You got this 
• Come up with a plan - big fan of #RSP Rule of 3
• Aim for smaller, consistent gains instead of home runs
• Take responsibility
