Regarding the blackouts

I’m not gonna place blame on anyone I just think in general it’s being planned very sporadically and poorly rn? Once again not gonna place direct blame on anyone just in general think we need to do better. I fully understand the need for blackouts

But I think if you wanna have a successful one you need to have good notice in advance. Personally I’d say like 2 weeks or even a week notice would be much better than only being notified a few days before. Atm it’s being planned way too quickly and it’s upsetting that

It leaves the people who participate in the blackouts feeling overshadowed or just stressed. Let’s all do better here please. If you say “let’s have a blackout” like 2 days before inevitably people are going to be confused. We all make mistakes

Let’s learn from them? Planning a blackout means giving proper notice, making sure nothing too overshadowing or anything is happening on the day of (such as the concert or character birthdays)

Overall I think atm there are too many blackouts happening in one place

And it causes the participants and everyone to be confused. It’s really not fair. The need for the blackouts are there, but planning them too much or too quickly just seems to make them lose meaning a bit.

My heart goes out to the Jewish Fanders and Disabled Fanders

Who have had to deal with this planning being really all over the place and have felt confused. I’m not blaming anyone once again, I just genuinely feel for you. Much love
