I kinda wonder if the "we're not alone" at the end refers to Mantah Corp. It makes sense that they'd come to get their informant if she were stranded on the island. Plus that would give them the opportunity to sneak around abandoned JW labs.
Or the kids think Mantah came to get them, but they're just like "lol no we're here to steal some blueprints, you kids are on your own"
Also, Rexy having her "lair" on Main Street is hilarious in the context of JW's final fight. She was just like "here's where I threw down with that white asshole and the giant fish... guess I'll live here now!"
