If Warren Buffett were in his 20s today and just getting started, what he be up to?

I’ll go first: I think he’d be acquiring digital assets like blogs, newsletters, and small cashflowing SaaS projects.

I don’t think he’d have any interest in e-com or paid ad biz’s in general. Buffett saw the power of positive working capital businesses pretty early. He would be allergic to buying huge amounts of inventory.

He wouldn’t be a fan of FBA bc limited pricing power exists there.

Buffett’s love of media companies is well-documented. Back in his day, newspapers had similar dynamics to a top content website.

-Considered an authority by its audience
-Advertising-driven business model
-Easy to do a roll-up
