to think and differentiate between Atma and Anaatma. We have to attain knowledge through thought process. We have to ban or prohibit the Anatma. Atma gives us achievement because it can never be prohibited. We require the strength of Atma. We can achieve this

through thoughts in our conscience. So here Parmatma is requested to provide strength to Atma in order to ban Anaatma.

ये ते॒ पंथाः॑ सवितः पू॒र्व्यासो॑ऽरे॒णवः॒ सुकृ॑ता अं॒तरि॑क्षे ।
तेभि॑र्नो अ॒द्य प॒थिभिः॑ सु॒गेभी॒ रक्षा॑ च नो॒ अधि॑ च ब्रूहि देव ॥

सवितः - Savitadev!

ते ये - Yours.

पूर्व्यास - Of Previous.

अरेणवः - Without dust.

पन्थाः - Path.

अन्तरिक्षे - In space.

सुकृताः - Built nicely.

अद्य - Today.

तेभि - They.

सुगेभिः - Easy.

पथिभिः - On path.

नःरक्ष च - Protect us too.

च - And.

देव - Devta.

नः - From our side.

अधि ब्रुहि - Speak more.

Explanation : Here it is said that the path of Savitadev is dustfree and pre decided. He is requested to come through this easy path and protect the devotees and provide divinity to the bhakts engaged in Yagya etc.
