..patients through the radiology department for one investigation or the other the conclusion is that most of these patients assume this professionals to be "doctors" one can forgive their assumption given the sophistication and thrilling nature of how the imaging modalities...

So what do radiographers do?

A radiographer is either in diagnostic or in therapy. So the job specification varies.
a diagnostic radiographer may work with either of this or combined imaging modalities:
👉Computed tomography
.....
A CT machine
👉Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)

👉Conventional radiography(xray)
👉ultrasonography
👉Nuclear Medicine(further divided in to SPECT/PET)

Whilst a therapy Radiographer works with
👉 External beam radiotherapy EBRT (consisting of
♦Linear accelerator(LINAC)
♦Cobalt-60
👉Brachytherapy

radiotherapy modalities LINAC in UDUTh and LUTH
A brachytherapy modality
A conventional radiography modality
An ultrasound Imaging modality
