Had our last Dept meeting of 2020 tonight (I finish tomorrow, moving day!)
Lovely to chat with most of the dept and we had a reflection on booklets, our first term of full booklet KS3/4
Made the decision to move to weekly pages to support workload and improve quality

We had a honest discussion and agreed that making booklets during a pack Covid term is tough, and the rush to get them done impacts on their quality.
Now we will continue to use them but weekly and treasury tag into books. Also plan to allow more ‘off booklet responsive stuff

Another issue we found, which *may* also be linked to booklets & reduced note taking is the slow writing speed - causation or correlation?
Remains to be seen the impact of booklets, my little trial last year work, but these were carefully crafted over time for a specific class

I’ll be honest though, this booklet has been a triumph and probably the best resource I’ve ever planned/made
But it took a long time to carefully plan, sequence and create
