I decided a thread of really interesting and nice tv shows that are not relatively popular in Nigeria

This includes old and new shows that are popular on streaming services and in other countries but underrated in Nigeria

1) Russian doll : this is popular Netflix original comedy-drama about a young woman gets caught in a mysterious loop as she repeatedly attends the same event and dies at the end of the night each time, though in it's first season, it touches social issues on friendship, suicide..

2) Killing Eve: This spy related drama borders on the effect of the love-hate relationship between MI6 agent; Eve polatris and mercenary for hire; villanelle. Though Underrated in Nigeria, the tv show protrays incredible scenes and top notch story work

3) Bojack horseman:When I say adult cartoons,what comes to mind is probably Rick and Morty or boondocks but this comedy is probably best adult cartoon ever made, it's about an horse;a former star of a 90s sitcom now drowning in drugs and booze is ready for a comeback in Hollywood

4)Barry: This dark comedy which focuses on a former Marine now hired mercenary who finds the joy of acting when looking for a target and he decides to leave his old life behind, a show relatively unknown in Nigeria blurs the lines between comedy and a tragedy is def a must watch.

5) Westworld: regarded as the sci-fi "game of thrones" this HBO is a must watch, a show which focuses on a futuristic western theme park where human interact with automaton/humanoid, and tension arises in the park when they start malfunctioning

6)American horror story: this anthological horror series is a must for horror lovers, not one story is the same, relatively unknown in Nigeria, you should check it out if you are an horror movie fan

7)Archer;though I might be bias,I regard Archer as the best adult cartoon ever made,you probably heard of family guy or south park but you are a big fan of conservation comedy then this is the show for you,this spy related work place comedy is a nice watch,definitely check it out

8)The Witcher: A Netflix original fantasy drama,the show is incredibly popular abroad, the story of a mutated monster Hunter who struggles to find his place in a terror filled world played by Henry Cavill of man of steel,in a distored story form, you will definitely enjoy this

9)The Good place:Elenaor is a disrespectful and morally corrupt person who dies and finds herself in the afterlife with a group of people living with a case of mistaken identity,for a comedy this show touches a lot of moral issues like moral philosophy, the meaning of life etc..

10)Love death + robot: this Netflix original is a collection of animated stories which includes comedy, horror, fantasy and sci-fi, this anthological series is still in its first season so you can easily catch up

11)Big mouth: this is a coming of age animated comedy about puberty and growing up, it's focuses mostly on physical and graphic comedy, so if you are a fan of that you should check it out

12)Brickleberry: Another animated comedy, is about brickleberry national parks and a group of inept and incompetent park rangers trying desperately to sustain it,this adult cartoon also focuses on physical and graphic comedy

13)Law and order SVU; a show which has spanned over two decades, which is about a special elite squad in the NYPD which focuses on sexual related crimes in New York and the cops trying not let the dangerous parts of their jobs affect their personal life

14)Euphoria: Though the buzz is kinda coming to Nigeria a little bit, the show is still relatively unknown, starring Zendaya, I am not sure I can summarize what's it actually about, it thoughyou definitely need to check it I recommend a 10/10 show

15)Never have I ever:I actually binged watched this teen comedy on Netflix during the pandemic,it about the complicated life of Devi vishwakumar, an Indian American teenager dealing with her dad's death and her highschool crush in school among various things, a really nice watch

15)Peaky blinders: I decided to include this into the list cause a lot of people have heard of it, but most people haven't actually watched it, a nice series about Thomas shelby who leads the peaky blinders, a gang in England in 1914 and their conflict with the new inspector
