Me: Uh, no, vaccines work generally. This one just hasn't been tested to know if prevents death yet. Prophylaxis that works obviously does.
Oh, and it's Ivermectin, not HCQ.

Me: Uh, I've been using prophylaxis since April. Been exposed multiple times. Haven't gotten it. Now that's a case study, which is not evidence

... but -- since my personal case study says that it appears to work IF I GET COVID I think I'll go with the advice of a medical school full of doctors and a few other LARGE medical practices (e.g. Broward, Aurora in Milwaukee, etc) plus 10 RCTs that say I won't need hospital

Maybe the vaccine works to prevent death and maybe it's safe. We don't know; the EUA studies are underpowered to demonstrate that and thus can't.
But prophylaxis does work, clinicians say it works, AND STOPS THE DEATH RIGHT NOW.
Why does it continue?
