The liberal-progressive alliance is a dead parrot nailed to a perch because liberals decided that progressives could be left to die in an epidemic because they were too stupid and weak to punish anyone for leaving them to die.
As a general rule, the best way to break the authoritarian bond between leader and follower is for the leader to try to kill the follower. It works like a charm, usually. The follower says, “Wait a second. No matter what I’ve been told or had drilled into my skull and body....”

And a baby self-esteem is born into the world.
But here we are, letting them kill us for money as if that is their right and we must just be slaughtered by sheep so the rich can finish looting before they have to fuck off to their bunkers with their billions, to hide out from the devastation they unleashed on us.
The split in the Democratic Party is between the upper and lower classes. The lower classes literally cannot afford to be Democrats any more. They have been gentrified out of the party.
We can’t afford their healthcare, housing, schools, or their concessions to Republicans that always affect us and not them.
