Thread(1/4) In the 1940s only 10% of the German people were members of the Nazi party. And Germany went on to perpetuate one of the biggest human rights disasters in the history of mankind. The unseen, unheard, silent majority always is unimportant in the annals of history.
2/4Today, as everyone who dares to question the government is termed as anti Hindu, or an urban naxal, or a terrorist, remember, o educated people of India, if you don't speak up, history will forget you. Your silence will not register as the historians write the history of India
3/4 Why do I speak up? Not because I belong to a minority religion. Sikhs have always been a minority in India or Hind or whatever name you may give the Indian subcontinent. I speak up for the future of our children. Let them inherit a hate free India. Free of lynching.
4/4 I am and always will think of you as a friend. But if you fail to speak up today, afraid of the faceless trolls know that the future generations will not forgive you for this silence as the image of an inclusive, progressive India dies in the fire of political ambition.
