The reason @RahulGandhi is staying aloof from party affairs is, he is a man of integrity, and passionate. More than the leftists, he understands the real dangers that faces the country today. 1/n

He knows, the fight today is not political, but, an ideological fight against @RSSorg

The repeated attacks on Gandhi family by RSS / BJP is due to the precise reason that, RSS knows Gandhi family alone can save the party. 2/n

The fact is most of the Congress leaders are compromised and are in touch with RSS. They all are afraid of the law enforcement agencies, as they all have plenty of skeletons in their cupboard to hide. 3/n

But, @RahulGandhi understands what is the real threat that is facing our country. We all owe him for his clarity of thought. I would say, leaders who call themselves Marxists also don’t understand the what the threat is. This includes even Sitaram Yechury, whom I hold in high regard. 5/n

If he had understood, he would / should have joined hands with Mamta Banarjee, along with Congress. She is standing alone in Bengal today. And fighting a three front war.

I understand the frustration of @RahulGandhi. He comes from a family of Kashmiri Pandits. Like a few conscientious brahmins, 7/n

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, understood the real threat to India is not from Muslims but from right wing fascists.

I feel even Mahatma Gandhi didn’t understand the real threat and ultimately he had to sacrifice his life to @RSSorg cadre. 8/n

I plead with @RahulGandhi to come out of his cocoon and take on the fascists. We are now in 1857. We need 90 more years to achieve independence and regain our country from fascists. 9/n

We had fought an empire which claimed that “The sun never sets”. We can take on these fascists and let’s do it with all our might. In this fight against fascism, we should be ready for sacrifices. 10/n

If you feel you are a leader material, @RahulGandhi, come out of the cocoon and lead the fight against these fascists. Let’s pledge our lives to regain our democracy.
