Simple is better.

People want to learn and receive quick bits of information.

Short and powerful is the key.
5. Audience

Recognize your audience.

What are you trying to accomplish with your thread?

Does it have direction?

Is it aimed at a group or individuals?

Does it focus on a particular topic or is it broad?

Focus on one thing.

Depth.
6. Create a story board

Write everything out first.

Re-arrange it in a way that makes it flow the best it can.

Type everything out first and adjust later.

These things take time and patience.
7. Establish a goal

Work backwards.

How will you get there?

This method of thought will back you into the ideas that will be the main part of your thread.

Goals are critical.
8. Get inspired

There are people all around this space crushing twitter daily.

Study them.

See how they execute.

Learn from them.

Put the time in and understand how they are successful.

They were once where you are.

Stay curious.
9. Stick to what works

As you write more, you will become better.

Understand what has and has not worked.

If something worked, continue to use it.

If not, adjust and push forward. Adapt and change.

Trial and error is key.
10. Why

1. Are you teaching?
2. Are you learning?
3. Are you reflecting?

What is your "why?"

What is the purpose?

Constantly ask and remind yourself of this as you are writing.

It's important to remain baselined in your approach.
