The inspiration for my romantic space opera: Are we alone in the universe? What societies and people might exist in unexplored space? What undiscovered, untapped abilities might we humans have? I admit, I tried to avoid and mask it, but some real life experiences sneak in too.

Real life experiences that make me consider that even upstanding, good people can make poor choices in the throes of passion. Does that mean they don't deserve forgiveness and a happy life? What about facing an impossible choice?

What about fate and faith? Are we in total control or are some things mapped out already in our destinies? Should we reach out to something beyond our five senses for help? Yes, my series is a steamy, romantic, space opera adventure, but all these thoughts are baked in.
