A 90% effective vaccine would be great. Keep in mind that its main benefit is in the 75+ age group.

Risk wise:

A vaccinated 60 year old is equivalent to an unvaccinated 40 year old.
A vaccinated 40 year is equivalent to an unvaccinated 30 year old.

Of course, young healthy people who take a vaccine are also less likely to spread it to at-risk people, so that's a plus. However, if the risks are so low for young/healthy to begin with, why have governments been trying to prevent them from building immunity this whole time? 2/3
