A 23-year-old with shortness of breath and in respiratory distress, whose oxygen saturation levels (normally 100%) is only 74%. He was diagnosed with covid-19, 2 days ago and sent home because his symptoms were mild, but today he's back and not doing well at all.
This is my 6 patient, brought in by ambulance, in this condition today. Wear a mask young people, you are not immune to covid-19..😷
I'm exhausted and it's not even 12 noon yet.😷
Lunch break! I got twenty minutes.
So far today we have admitted 15 patients, its a crazy load. That actually puts our covid-19 count at 94 patients and counting, plus we lost 4 patients.
Good news my young 12 year old patient is off the ventilator and doing better..😷
