The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected Black and Brown Americans and coupled with recent acts of violence across the U.S. toward these communities, has shed a renewed light on the discrimination and inequities faced by Black Americans and other people of color.
. @ironwoodpharma has created the ISTAR (Ironwood Stands Together Against Racism) donation initiative, with the goal of identifying non-profits working to advance racial equity and social justice in our communities.
We are honored to be an @ironwoodpharma ISTAR recipient. This allows us to build upon our work in Boston communities as we strive toward racial equity and eradicating other root causes of homelessness. This fight can only continue if we work together.
