Illinois has one of most active #forfeiture programs in the country, bringing in over $1 billion in state & federal forfeiture revenues from 2000-2019.

About 3/4 of forfeitures in IL are of currency.

From 2015 to 2019, half of Illinois' currency forfeitures were under $755.
Half of Michigan's currency forfeitures from 2016 to 2018 were worth less than $423.

Michigan law-enforcement agencies brought in at least $439 million in state & federal #forfeiture revenues from 2000 to 2019.
